Terms of Service & Community Guidelines

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Weaux LLC ("Weaux", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Weaux, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Weaux.

1. You must be 18 or older

Weaux is an adult platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.

• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password private.

• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone, and don't pretend to be a company or organization you aren't.

• Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

Verified badges. A verified badge shows we have checked that an account belongs to the person, business or organisation it claims to represent. Applying is voluntary and the decision is ours. A badge is not an endorsement, gives the account no extra rights, and we may remove it if the account changes hands, changes what it represents, or breaks these terms. You may not buy, sell or transfer a badge, and you may not claim or imply you are verified when you are not.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you post. To run the service we need your permission to store and display it, so by posting you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving Weaux, and to show it to the people you chose to show it to.

This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups and anything already shared onward by other users.

You're responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to post.

4. Community Guidelines

These are the rules for what you can put on Weaux. They apply to posts, comments, drawings, stories, events, direct messages, usernames, profile photos and background images — everything.

Do not post:

• Anything sexual involving minors. Zero tolerance. We report this to the authorities and ban permanently and immediately.

• Harassment, bullying or targeted abuse. Including coordinated pile-ons and repeated unwanted contact.

• Hate speech. Attacks on people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

• Threats or incitement of violence, and praise or support for violent extremism or terrorism.

• Someone's private information — their address, phone number, identity documents, financial details or anything else that could be used to find or harm them.

• Non-consensual intimate imagery, or any sexual content involving someone who did not agree to it being shared.

• Content that promotes self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.

• Illegal goods or services — drugs, weapons, stolen goods, fraudulent services.

• Spam, scams, or deceptive schemes, including fake engagement and bulk unsolicited messages.

• Impersonation of another person, brand or organization.

• Content you don't have the rights to — someone else's photos, art, writing or music posted as your own.

• Malware or anything designed to break, overload or get unauthorized access to Weaux.

Also don't:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-collect information about other users.

• Use bots or automation to interact with the service.

• Try to get around a block, a suspension or a removal.

• Sell or transfer your account.

5. Reporting, and what we do about it

Every post, comment, profile, story, event and message on Weaux can be reported from inside the app. Reports are reviewed, and we may remove content, limit an account's reach, suspend it, or ban it permanently. Serious violations are actioned without warning.

You can also block any user, which stops you seeing their content, and mute any user, which hides their content while leaving them visible.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, email us at the address below with enough detail to identify the work and the content you're reporting.

If you do not have a Weaux account. You can still report content that shows you or harms you, by emailing weaux@weauxtheapp.com. Requests to remove intimate images published without consent are actioned within 48 hours of a valid request. Our Contact page explains what to include.

6. Copyright and repeat infringers

Weaux respects copyright, and expects you to as well. Only post material you own or have permission to use.

If you believe something on Weaux infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent. The agent's name, address, phone number and email, and the six things your notice must contain, are set out in full on our Contact page. Weaux is registered with the United States Copyright Office under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2).

When we receive a valid notice we remove or disable the material and tell the person who posted it. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent, and we will tell you what happens next.

Repeat infringers. We keep a record of valid copyright notices received against each account. Each one counts as a strike. An account that reaches ten strikes is permanently terminated. A strike that is withdrawn, or reversed after a successful counter-notice or appeal, does not count toward that total. We may terminate an account before ten strikes where the infringement is severe, deliberate or commercial in nature.

Separately from copyright, we may suspend or terminate an account at any point for repeated breaches of our Community Guidelines.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms or the Community Guidelines, or where we believe it's necessary to protect other users or the service. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

Appealing a decision. If your account is suspended or terminated, or your content is removed, and you believe we got it wrong, email weaux@weauxtheapp.com from the address on the account within 30 days. Tell us your username and why you think the decision was mistaken. A person reviews every appeal. If we agree, we restore the account or the content and remove any strike recorded against you.

8. The service may change

Weaux is under active development. Features may be added, changed or removed. We'll give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can.

9. Disclaimers

Weaux is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, and we don't endorse or take responsibility for content posted by users. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weaux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Weaux LLC and its officers, members, employees and agents against any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of content you post, your use of the service, your breach of these terms or the Community Guidelines, or your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights.

We may take over the defence of any such claim at your expense, and you agree not to settle it without our written consent.

12. Disputes and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between you and Weaux are resolved, and it limits your right to go to court or take part in a class action.

Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, email a written description of the dispute to the address below. Most problems are solved this way. Please allow 30 days.

Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Weaux will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration takes place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, or remotely by video or telephone if you prefer. The arbitrator's award is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You and Weaux each agree to bring claims only individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims.

Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court for an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

How to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration section by emailing weaux@weauxtheapp.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms, giving your name, your username, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out costs you nothing and affects no other part of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll post the new version here and update the date above. If the change is significant we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Weaux after that means you accept the new terms.
